ARISE2010 was a significant gathering of PHCC church leaders from across Canada, held in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the end of July. With guest speakers Dr. Ronald Carpenter, Pastor Rick Fountain and Pastor John Lucas, delegates received powerful instruction and inspiration to continue seeing the Canadian church arise to the potential it has been designed for by God. As regional leaders gathered, Pastor McDonald challenged all in attendance to continue stepping out in faith and expanding the influence of God's Kingdom in Canada.
Special thanks to Pastor Jerry and Beverly Kendrick of City Church for hosting this years national conference. The warmth and ministry of the many church volunteers and leaders ensured our time together will always be remembered in the days to come. The worship throughout the week led by Pastor Gerald Kendrick (City Church Associate Pastor) was powerfully anointed and rich. Gerald and his wife Tami were also extensively involved in the preparations and implementation of the multiple meetings, receptions, and administration throughout. Congratulations to those who were ordained during Saturday evenings service, may God continue to order your steps, anoint your ministry efforts and fill you with the dream of a changed nation as we serve and minister together. Another special thank you to Bishop Carpenter for his insight into God's Word, his personable interaction with everyone gathered and his ongoing leadership of the IPHC. Your time with our Canadian pastors and leaders was greatly valued!
